Midgets cruise to victory over Williston in regular season finale

WILLISTON -- Four different Midgets notched goals as the Dickinson High boys hockey team defeated Williston 5-1 during a regular season finale on Saturday, Feb. 10 from the Williston Agri-Sports Complex.

WILLISTON - Four different Midgets notched goals as the Dickinson High boys hockey team defeated Williston 5-1 during a regular season finale on Saturday, Feb. 10 from the Williston Agri-Sports Complex.

Twenty seconds before the end of the first period, sophomore defender Peyton Hanson got the Midgets on the board with an unassisted goal.

Dickinson added three goals in the second period from junior forward Brayden Groll, sophomore forward Joseph Pavek, and sophomore defender Austin Raatz. Groll added a second goal midway through the third period.

Midgets junior goaltender Riley Wittenberg stopped 21 shots for the victory, while Coyotes netminder Jay Lambert finished with 25 saves.
