BISMARCK -- Jess Herauf had 10 kills and Madison Deibert had nine aces as the Dickinson High volleyball team notched a sweep in its West Region victory over Bismarck St. Mary's on Thursday night.
The Midgets rolled to a 25-16, 25-16, 25-14 victory to improve to 15-5 overall and 4-2 in the region and avoid a letdown after surprising the field to win their own tournament last Saturday.
"After a long weekend, you don't want to have a letdown," Dickinson coach Jay Schobinger said. "They came out and played well enough to win. That's all we can ask for."
Leslie Beaudoin added five kills and a team-high four blocks for the Midgets. Dickinson setter Kara Froelich had 20 assists and 10 digs in her return after sitting out the tournament due to illness.
