Midgets net 7, outlast Richland

SIDNEY, Mont. - After a heartbreaking loss in its home finale, the Dickinson girls hockey team refocused and got back on track.
The Midgets beat Sidney (Mont.) 7-6 Tuesday night and battled back and forth for the win.
Dickinson scored four unanswered goals to take a 7-4 lead. Sidney threatened by scoring two goals in the final 4 minutes of the third period.
Sophomore Kira Zastoupil scored two goals, one in the first period and the other in the beginning of the third, while senior Cassidy Goodrich scored her first career goal in the third period at the 6:14 mark.
Sidney was led by Brooke Franklin with two goals and two assists.
Senior goalie Paige Fahlstrom made five saves in the first period, while Kelsey Gillen finished the game in the second and third periods for 23 stops. Sidney goalie Ally McLaughlin made 37 saves.
The Midgets finish out their season with a road game at Jamestown at 6 p.m. Saturday.
