Minot defeats Dickinson during consolation semifinals

FARGO - The Dickinson High girls hockey team ended its season at the North Dakota state hockey tournament on Friday.
Minot defeated the Midgets 6-3 in the consolation semifinals at Veterans Arena.
Taylor Hooker supplied two goals and one assist to lead the Majettes. Bryanna Bergeron added two assists and one goal, while Mackinzy MacIver had one goal and one assist. Alissa Ewan and Sydney Boyce each had one goal.
Dickinson senior captain Rachel Lantz posted two goals. Kenadee Fritz added one goal, while Hallie Hoffer had one assist.
With the two goals, Lantz tied her older sister - Christina - in points for the end of the season with 31.
Alex Nelson picked up the win goal for Minot with 17 saves. Dickinson’s Breanna Chamberlain was charged with the loss and made 28 saves.
