BISMARCK -- The No. 1-ranked Beach girls basketball team edged No. 5 Carrington on Saturday night 58-51 at the Bismarck Century High School gymnasium.
Brittney Dietz had a game-high 27 points and Jill Rising added 12 to help the Buccaneers (17-0) overcome a 33-26 halftime deficit.
Sierra Rosenau had 17 points to lead Carrington and Emily Thompson chipped in 13 for the Cardinals.
