Oversen places 6th at Grand View Open

DES MOINES, Iowa - Though not all of the Dickinson State wrestling team traveled to the Grand View Open, the ones that did gained a wealth of experience.

DES MOINES, Iowa - Though not all of the Dickinson State wrestling team traveled to the Grand View Open, the ones that did gained a wealth of experience.

The tournament featured a slew of top-tier programs, including Divison I schools. Despite the tough battle, DSU's Lane Oversen placed sixth at 184 pounds on Saturday. Grand View's Logan Kellogg defeated Oversen in an 8-4 decision for fifth place.

At 149 pounds, Seth Ehlang was one match shy of placing. The sophomore fell to North Dakota State's Mark Voss 10-8. Voss went on to finish in fifth place.
