BISMARCK -- The No. 1 seed Bismarck Century girls basketball team didn't have any trouble getting out of the West Region Tournament.
The Patriots cruised to three straight wins to be crowned West Region champions with a 64-39 win over Bismarck High on Saturday at the Bismarck Civic Center.
The Patriots had two players notched double-doubles led by A.J. Jacob with 12 points and 13 rebounds and Hannah Larson added 10 points and 11 rebounds.
Rylee Meier was the only Demon to score in double-figures with 12 points.

The Majettes held a comfortable lead at halftime to defeat Bismarck St. Mary's.

The Braves overcame an 11-point deficit at the half to defeat Jamestown.
The Braves were led by Mic Longtin with 15 points, while McKayla Howling Wolf added 14 and Elizabeth posted 12.
For the Blue Jays, Julie Fuchs posted a game-high 20 points, followed by Kyra Dewald with 18.
