BISMARCK - Despite only out-scoring the Dickinson High boys basketball team 33-29 in the second half, a 13-point first-half differential aided Bismarck Century to a 72-55 victory on Tuesday, Jan. 22, from Olson Gymnasium.
The Midgets handed the Patriots 20 free points as they committed 18 fouls to prompt 23 tries from the foul line.
Patriots junior guard Cade Feeney led all players with 19 points and four assists. He also added a team-high eight rebounds.
Pacing the Midgets was junior guard Jaiden Wright with 15 points and three assists. Junior guard Kobe Krenz followed with 13 points, while junior forward Tallon Klatt added nine points and eight rebounds.
Powered by 48 percent shooting in the second half, the Midgets ended the evening shooting 41.5 percent from the floor, more accurate than the Patriots’ 38.3 percent.
