Pavek earns three points in Midgets win over Beulah-Hazen

With just over six minutes left in the opening frame, Pavek scored with helpers from junior defender Jaren Hugelen and senior forward Brayden Groll. The Midgets led 5-1 after one period.

On the final score of the evening, Pavek tallied the secondary assist on a goal from Brayden Groll at the 13:03 mark.

While Pavek was the only Midget to put up three points, many earned two.

Evan Groll, who dismissed a short Bismarck lead after a goal from Landen Sayler 1:26 into the game, netted his second just minutes later to put his team up 3-1. Between his goals, Hugelen capitalized for his first of two points.

Senior forward Tanner Giese also found net twice, closing out the scoring in the opening stanza and breaking through for the only Midgets goal in the second.

After aiding in Pavek’s goal, senior forward Brayden Groll scored the final Dickinson (10-4, 4-4 WDA) goal with four minutes left to play.

Before Riley Wittenberg stepped in the crease to close out the game, junior goalie Zachary Sprague stopped 12 shots from the North Stars.

North Stars (2-11) netminder Evan Eliason stopped 42 shots.
