University of Mary men's basketball coach Juno Pintar resigned on Friday.
Pintar had spent the past five seasons as the team's head coach and had been with the program for 14 seasons.
He ends his tenure at U-Mary with a 55-88 overall record. The Marauders finished the 2008-09 season with a record of 7-20 overall and 5-15 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.
Pintar's best season was his first when he lead U-Mary to an 18-12 record overall and a 9-9 mark in DAC-10 play.
The university said a search for a new coach will begin immediately.
