BISMARCK -- The Dickinson High boys hockey team kept pace with Bismarck High through the first two periods.
Then the Demons scored a pair of power-play goals in the third period en route to a 6-3 win over the Midgets in a West Region game on Tuesday.
Dickinson and Bismarck each scored a goal in the first period, while the Demons took a 4-3 advantage heading into the third period.
Jayden Mink scored one unassisted goal in the first period for the Midgets, while Matt Pavek added two goals in the second. Mickey Folske supplied two assists and Kass Dvorak had one.
Cooper Cox and Jared Spooner each had two goals, while Michael Matzke and Bryce Eckman each supplied one. Eckman also posted three assists in the win.

The Midgets host Watford City at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Dickinson Recreation Center.
