Postseason awards for Region 7 girls basketball

The All-Region team and award winners were announced at the conclusion of the Region 7 tournament.

DICKINSON — The Region 7 girls’ basketball All-Region team was announced as the conclusion of the Region 7 tournament at Trinity High School on Thursday.

Fifteen players from nine different schools were selected, including two from Region 7 champions Beulah, who clinched their first trip to the Class B state tournament since 1989 with a win over Mott-Regent .

Along with the All-Region selections, the Senior Athlete of the Year, Coach of the Year, and Athletic Director of the Year were also handed out. The selections and winners were chosen by the coaches of Region 7 before the tournament began.

Senior Athlete of the Year: Madi Wilhelmi, Beach

Coach of the Year: Sara Seidler, Mott-Regent
