RICHARDTON - The Bowman County football team put Richardton-Taylor-Hebron in an unfamiliar position.
The Bulldogs scored the opening touchdown to put the Raiders in an early deficit.
However, RTH responded with four straight touchdowns to take a 42-22 win against Bowman County during a 9-man, Region 4 game on Friday.
Jacob Kuntz and Denver Colgrove each finished with a pair of touchdowns. Kuntz rushed for 66 yards on 10 carries, while Colgrove had a game-high 15 carries for 118 yards. Kuntz also passed went 7 of 15 for 173 yards including a 30-yard touchdown to Corey Rebel and an interception.
Bowman County’s opening touchdown came from Tel Lardy from one-yard out. Lardy ended with nine carries for 35 yards. Mathew Carlson added a nine-yard touchdown run in the third quarter. The sophomore quarterback threw for 91 yards and had two interceptions.

WASHBURN - Trenton Rohr and the No. 3-ranked Killdeer football team didn’t slow down on the venture out east.
Rohr supplied four touchdowns, while Lewis Dobitz and John Knopik each rushed for one TD en route a Class 1A, Region 4 win over Southern McLean.

Hazen 55, New Salem-Almont-Glen Ullin 22


HAZEN - The Hazen football team rolled up 49 points in the first half on New Salem-Almont-Glen Ullin.
The halftime cushion of 41 points was all the Bison needed to beat the Holsteins in a Class 1A, Region 4 game.
Hunter Steffen finished with six carries for 80 yards and one touchdown. He also caught a 24-yard TD pass from Connor Doll and returned a 64-yard punt return for a TD.
Doll added a total of three touchdowns - two rushing and one passing - and threw for 74 yards.
Brandon Schroeder had two touchdowns.

The Cougars offense scored 52 points and the defense allowed zero points against Garrison-Max.

MOTT - There wasn’t a shortage of points between the Grant County-Flasher and Mott-Regent football teams.
The two teams combined for 106 points as the Storm defeated the Wildfire.
GCF’s Andrew Schafer scored five touchdowns and rushed for 361 yards on 39 carries.
For the Wildfire, Josh Wallace finished with four touchdowns. The freshman quarterback rushed for 221 yards on 31 carries.
