The 1992 world champion bareback rider, originally from Golden Valley, North Dakota, is the newest Rancher of the Year selected by the Roughrider Commission for his endeavors in both the rodeo and ranching worlds.
Tyler Robertson, of Hermosa, South Dakota, is retiring after being a pickup man for 30 years. He made his final Roughrider Days PRCA rodeo appearance this weekend. We spoke to the Roughrider Commission on what his years of service have meant to the annual Dickinson rodeo. Robertson also put us in the saddle, recapping his long standing career.
DICKINSON — Hooting and hollering rodeo fans enjoyed three days packed full of bucking broncs, speedy steers and thrashing bulls at the Roughrider Days Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) Rodeo June 24 through June 26 at Stark County Fairgrounds.
