RAPID CITY, S.D. -- The Dickinson Roughriders American Legion baseball team lost to Sioux Falls (S.D.) East 17-0 in the second day of the Rich Hinseth Agency Tournament on Friday.
East took a 6-0 lead after one inning.
"It's hard to get back in the game when you put yourself in that type of hole," Dickinson head coach Andy Emard said.
East rattled off 18 hits in the game, while the Roughriders had eight hits. Scott Gordon took the loss of Dickinson.
"We would piece together some hits, but didn't get enough," Emard said.

The Roughriders play Rapid City Post 22 at 7:30 p.m. today.
