Dickinson State sophomore punter Sean Russell was named Dakota Athletic Conference football special teams player of the week on Monday after average 46.5 yards per punt in the Blue Hawks' 19-7 victory over Jamestown College last Saturday. Russell had four punts with a long of 83 yards.
Dickinson native Mandy Brumfield, a senior at Black Hills State, was named DAC volleyball setter of the week after recording 85 assists in two matches -- she averaged 12.1 assists per game -- and added 12 digs and two aces.
