Dickinson State junior designated hitter Willie Sandez was named the Dakota Athletic Conference's baseball player of the week.
Sanchez went 11-for-18 (.611) and slugged 1.778 as the Blue Hawks went 4-2 over the week. He had six home runs, including a school-record four in Saturday's first game against Mayville State, three doubles, eight RBI and scored nine runs with five walks.
