BELFIELD - Although the Heart River football team led Beulah 7-6 after one quarter and 14-12 midway through the second, the Miners scored five unanswered touchdowns en route to a 44-14 Region 4 win on Friday, Sept. 28 in Belfield.

Beulah got on the board with a 61-yard rush from senior running back Kaleb McGraw, but Cougars senior Cauy Shypkoski rushed four yards to score. The extra point by Anton Krebs put the home team temporarily on top.

With 11 minutes and 11 seconds left in the second quarter, the Miners scored again, this time with a 34-yard run from junior Tryston Miller. Once again, Shypkoski answered. Another 4-yard touchdown run and PAT from Krebs put the Cougars ahead 14-12 with 8:29 remaining in the half.
