Seiler, Tescher named NSAA preseason all-conference team

After an 8-13 start, the Dickinson State baseball team received multiple nods on the North Star Athletic Association preseason all-conference team.
The Blue Hawks have two players on the preseason all-conference team - senior first baseman Eric Seiler and senior outfielder Jordan Tescher.
In 21 games, Tescher has a team-high .418 batting average with four home runs, four doubles, two triples, 16 RBI and 18 runs scored.
Seiler posts a .364 average with six doubles, two triples, one home run, a team-high 24 RBI and 11 runs scored. The senior first baseman also has a 2-3 record in 39 innings with a 4.62 earned run average and 29 strikeouts to 10 walks.
In addition to the preseason all-conference team, the NSAA also released a newcomers list.
The Blue Hawks’ senior infielder Landon Briscoe and junior infielder Jake Hignite are on the list. Briscoe has a .276 average with two doubles and 10 RBI, while Hignite supplies a .329 average, four doubles, three home runs and 14 RBI.
The University of Jamestown leads the preseason all-conference list with six players, while Mayville State has five.
