BILLINGS, Mont. - With four minutes and 20 seconds left to play against Billings, Dickinson High Cody Shepard scored his third goal of the game, completing a hat trick and bumping the Midgets advantage to 4-1. As the clock ticked to just 33 seconds, Ryan Bren scored unassisted to seal the 5-1 win on Friday, Dec. 14 in Billings.

The Bulls broke the ice in the first as Duke Cherpeski pushed the puck past Dickinson (4-2, 3-2 WDA) goaltender Riley Wittenberg. It was the only one that got by him though, as he went on to make 23 saves.

Bulls goalie Braylon Rogers made all nine saves in the first, but allowed three goals in the second.

First, Shepard scored with the helper from Bren at the 15:47 mark. Next time, Shepard was setup by Quentin Lewis. With 5:12 left in the second period, Peyton Hanson scored with assists going to Lewis and Shepard.
