HAZEN -- The Dickinson High boys hockey team has dropped into the West Region play-in game.
Hazen-Beulah's Riley Olson netted a hat trick to help the North Stars top Dickinson 7-3 in a West Region contest on Thursday.
"Once again, one guy keeps hurting us," Tom Folske said.
This time, it was clearly Olson who had two his goals in the second period, the second of which gave Hazen-Beulah a 7-3 lead.
The North Stars (6-10-2 overall, 3-10-2 West Region) added three more goals in the third period and goalie Preston Landenberger had 22 saves.

Dickinson received goals from Kevin Burke, Cole Frenzel and Colby Mink.
Joel Otto and Matt Porter combined to stop 34 shots between the pipes for the Midgets, who remain in last place in the West region.
Dickinson will most likely play at Jamestown on Monday for the right to go on to the West Region tournament.
