Tauave, Boschee earn All-American honors

Dickinson State football players Noey Tauave and Cain Boschee were named to the 2016 NAIA American Football Coaches Association All-America Team, according to a news release Tuesday.

Dickinson State football players Noey Tauave and Cain Boschee were named to the 2016 NAIA American Football Coaches Association All-America Team, according to a news release Tuesday.

Tauave, a senior, earned NAIA first team defense honors after recording 77 tackles, 17 tackles for a loss, and five sacks. He was also named the North Star Athletic Association Defensive MVP.

Boschee, a sophomore, earned NAIA second team defense honors this season after tallying nine interceptions, four interceptions for touchdowns and 54 tackles.

Tauave and Boschee helped DSU reach the NAIA playoffs for the second year in a row and finish the season as NSAA champions with a 9-3 overall record.
