SPEARFISH, S.D. - Dickinson State track and field runners Amanda Wolff, Ty Stanton and Jose Chorro were all given North Star Athletic Association Outdoor Track Athlete Of The Week honors.
All competed Saturday in Spearfish, S.D., at the Yellowjacket open, hosted by NCAA Division II Black Hills State.
Wolff ran the 1500 meters in 5:02.89 and the 800 meters in 2:32.21 and finished fifth in each. Her time in 1500 meters was best in the NSAA, her time in the 800 meters second best.
Stanton finished second in the triple jump with a distance of 14.34 meters and qualified for NAIA Nationals. He also finished fifth in the long jump at 6.61 meters.
Like Stanton, Chorro qualified for NAIA Nationals in the 110-meter hurdles, coming in first with a time of 14.75 seconds.
