Prince was named senior athlete of the year and Luke Powers received Region 7 coach of the year. Spencer Floberg was also named to the all-Region 7 team.
New England went on to earn eighth in in the state tournament - a run that ended with a loss to Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg. Powers was also named the North Dakota Class B coach of the year.
