GREENSBORO, N.C. - Coming off a stellar cross country season in the fall and an impressive track-and-field campaign in the spring during his sophomore year, Dickinson High’s Brady Yoder continued his long-distance running efforts in the off-season.
The Midgets star traveled to the Tar Heel state to compete in the 29th annual New Balance Nationals Outdoor on Saturday, June 15, from BB&T Stadium on the campus of North Carolina A&T State University.
Yoder finished 22nd out of 49 runners in the two-mile run with a time of 9 minutes, 24.62 seconds. His time was eight seconds faster than the number he put up to earn second place at the North Dakota High School state track and field meet in May. He was also fourth among Class of 2021 competitors.
The New Balance Nationals Outdoor includes more than 5,000 athletes from the United States and across the world.
