GRAND FORKS (AP) -- No players or coaches were hurt when a bus carrying the University of North Dakota hockey team was rear-ended.
The Grand Forks Herald reports that the team bus was stopped Thursday afternoon at a railroad crossing about halfway between Grand Forks and Bemidji, Minn., when it was hit from behind.
UND spokesman Jayson Hajdu says the driver of the car was not seriously injured.
The Fighting Sioux this weekend play two games against Bemidji State. A local school bus driver drove the team the final hour to Bemidji on a new bus.
