Viterbo edges Blue Hawks men’s basketball

LA CROSSE, Wis. -- Four players for Viterbo scored in double-figures on Saturday, helping the V-Hawks to a 73-66 victory over the Dickinson State men's basketball team.

LA CROSSE, Wis. - Four players for Viterbo scored in double-figures on Saturday, helping the V-Hawks to a 73-66 victory over the Dickinson State men’s basketball team.

Jake Bamke scored 21 for Viterbo (10-8, 4-3 North Star Athletic Association) and added a game-high eight rebounds in the win.

Marcus White scored 19 points to lead Dickinson State, and Terrell Butler (13 points) and Jerry Shevlin (11) joined him in double-figures. Shevlin, who went 3 for 3 on 3-point attempts, also grabbed six rebounds and had three steals.

Dickinson State (10-7, 4-2 NSAA) trailed 37-33 at halftime and was outscored 36-33 in the second half.
