Walby, Kuntz selected to state volleyball All-Star series

Senior setter Alexa Walby and senior middle hitter Masy Kuntz will represent Dickinson Trinity High School at the Class A and B All-Volleyball Series.

Senior setter Alexa Walby and senior middle hitter Masy Kuntz will represent Dickinson Trinity High School at the Class A and B All-Volleyball Series.

Set to take place on Monday, June 10, at Fargo North High School, and Tuesday, June 11, at Mandan High School, the two Titans were among 24 graduating seniors selected from across the state to participate in a two-game series organized by the North Dakota Optimists and North Dakota High School Coaches Association.

Capping their careers by helping Dickinson Trinity reach the Class B state tournament for the second consecutive season, Walby and Kuntz were each named to the All-Tournament team and collected spots on the Class B All-State team. Walby, who also earned Region 7 Senior Athlete of the Year, was picked to the All-State team for the second time in her career, while Kuntz made her first appearance this past season.
