WATFORD CITY - With the season coming to a close, the Dickinson High girls hockey team earned a satisfying 4-0 win on the road over Watford City on Tuesday, Feb. 6.
Midget goalie Jayli Wandler earned the shutout making 12 saves on the night.
Kamryn Kuntz, Kennedy Kuntz and Ali Lafond accounted for eight of nine points awarded to Dickinson skaters. Lafond, assisted by Kamryn Kuntz, started the scoring just under halfway through the first frame. Kamryn Kuntz, assisted by Kennedy Kuntz and Lafond, added a goal with four minutes to go in the first period. Two and a half minutes later, Kennedy added her own goal, assisted by Kameryn and Lafond.
After battering Watford City goalie Jeanine Miller with 21 shots over the final two periods, Taia Klaman got by her for the fourth and final goal of the night with 4:09 remaining in the game.
