MINOT - The semifinals at the North Dakota Class B girls basketball tournament provided two thrillers and set up a historic night for one school.

Killdeer rallied to knock off Thompson 48-47, led by Bridgette Reiss' 10 points and Trae Murray's 14 points and 9 rebounds.

Thompson led 41-39 with 2:39 remaining but Reiss hit a three pointer to give the Cowboys the lead and they never looked back after that.

Killdeer will face Grant County for the championship, the Coyotes continued their magical run, knocking off top seeded Medina-Pingree-Buchanan, 49-47.

Taylor Roehl sank a 60 foot shot to end the first quarter, she added two more threes in scoring 13 points. The Coyotes shut down the height of the Thunder, which led to Amanda Allen tying a state tournament record with seven three pointers.
