Dickinson State's Sara Jane Webster has been named NAIA national pitcher of the week for the first time this season.
Webster, a sophomore from Los Angeles, had three wins in three appearances last week.
She pitched her fourth no-hitter of the season while breaking her own single-game school strikeout record with 17 in the team's 4-0 victory over Minot State on Sunday.
Webster pitched 17 innings while allowing no earned runs and just one hit while striking out 34 batters.
The Blue Hawks are 31-3 overall and 16-0 in the Dakota Athletic Conference. They maintained their No. 4 ranking in the NAIA coaches poll on Tuesday.
