The Good Samaritan Society, owned by Sanford Health, announced plans Tuesday to close the facility within 60 days. Sanford confirmed they will include a stipulation in any sale of the building that will prevent it from continuing to be used for health care services of any kind in the future.
Teacher negotiations are coming to an end, with approvals needed by both sides to be finalized. The collective bargaining agreement took multiple meetings over two months to achieve and will provide clearer guidance and contractual obligations for both sides on hot button issues.
“In rural states like North Dakota, patients often struggle to get the care they need due to a variety of factors, one being distance to the nearest provider. I am proud to support this legislation, which will prevent unnecessary regulatory barriers from hampering the advancement and implementation of telehealth services,” Rep. Kelly Armstrong said.
"We remember the solemn early morning knock at the door of a mother or wife, followed by the harrowing words of a uniformed service member saying, 'The President has entrusted me to express his deepest regret..,'” writes The Dickinson Press.
