The Dickinson State University women's wrestling program, led by former wrestler and assistant coach Tyson Springer, has received substantial support from alumni in North Dakota and Montana.

DICKINSON — Saturday afternoon, family and friends of the Dickinson Midgets girls wrestling team lined up their vehicles at the Tiger Discount Truck Stop, on the east side of town. Their vehicles were decorated with orange colored streamers and taped portrait photographs of the returning wrestlers.
At the state championship wrestling tournament inside the Fargodome, the Dickinson Midgets wrestling program witnessed seven boys and three girls reach the podium.
