MINNEAPOLIS -- While no Minnesota Twins are in line to win this year’s MVP award, their beloved first baseman may have just won MVC (Most Valuable Costume). On Tuesday, Oct. 31, the Twins social media team treated fans to a barrage of various Halloween photos of Twins players and their families. Among Twins players participating in the fun were pitcher Kyle Gibson, infielder Eduardo Escobar, second baseman Brian Dozier and first baseman Joe Mauer, just to name a few. Mauer’s photo garnered the most engagement on Twitter with just over 1,500 retweets and nearly 9,500 likes.
LOS ANGELES—More details have emerged following the controversial hit by Minnesota Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr on Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, courtesy of Rodgers himself. In a Thursday, Oct. 27 appearance on TBS's "Conan O'Brien Show," Rodgers revealed that there was more to the sack saga that the public never saw. "I looked over at him (Barr) as I walked off the field," Rodgers said. "The cameras caught me saying something to him, but what they missed was him (Barr) giving the finger and the 'suck it' sign."

Graphic pictures released by the Isanti County Sheriff's Office on its Facebook page show what's left of the deputy's squad car, and it isn't much.

HOWELL, N.J. - A New Jersey woman was reunited with her 15-year-old miniature pinscher five months after she brought it to a local veterinary hospital to be euthanized. The dog was still alive. Keri Levy brought her dog to the vet on May 17, 2017 to be euthanized "due to his declining health," according to WPIX-TV. "She picked up the collar and actually paid her bill," said local animal cruelty spokesperson Ross Licitra. "She even received a letter from the veterinary offices stating their condolences on the loss of her pet." There's only one problem.

BLOOMINGTON, Minn.—Newly released security camera footage from inside a Minnesota mosque where a bomb went off this summer has been made available to the public. Police in Bloomington were called shortly after 5 a.m. Aug. 5 about an explosion at the Dar Al Farooq mosque after a bomb was thrown through the window of the imam's office while worshipers were gathered for morning prayers. No one was injured in the bombing. No arrests have been made.
